My Story
I’m born and raised on the central coast. My wife Carolyn is from here also. She has a House cleaning business. We have a daughter Olivia together and a daughter Morgan from a previous marriage.
My father became a builder when I was 11. I helped work in that business at that young age on weekends and after school to help put food on the table. We didn’t have much money. Our house was small and very old.
We built dozens of custom homes together. He was an honest man and he didn’t cut corners. I spent a lot of time on the job site doing many different things and helping everyone.
While away at college I sustained an injury and decided to come home to recover and help out in the family business. I really liked working outdoors and building houses for people so I went into it full time in 1983. I worked for others to learn different trades such as framing , concrete and finish carpentry. I got my contractors license in 1989. I continued with the same trades, also building the occasional house or addition and learning new skills along the way such as tile, Electrical, plumbing, roofing, painting, drywall.
I like to learn and enjoy challenging or difficult tasks such as remodeling. My long career has been divided amongst many skill sets.
